Jeff received a diploma in Plastics Engineering Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2008. He worked in industry for five years at companies that specialize in injection molding and plastics fabrication, and more recently, Evasc Medical Systems in Vancouver as a Medical Device Technologist. He returned to school in 2013 and received his BASc. in Mechanical Engineering (Thermofluids) in May of 2018. Jeff joined the Waterloo Microfluidics Laboratory in July 2018 to begin his Master’s. His research involves investigating the effects of Taylor dispersion in capillary isoelectric focusing (CiEF), and developing a novel method of protein isolation for CiEF using droplet microfluidics.
