• Executes and manages digital marketing strategies to enhance the global reputation of the Faculty of Engineering, aiming to attract top-tier students, faculty, and staff.
• Oversees content creation, performance analysis, and optimization of digital platforms including websites, social media, and video content, aligning with the University of Waterloo's vision.
• Leads digital projects, integrates digital content across platforms, and provides strategic and collaborative support to ensure effectiveness and adherence to university guidelines.

Role and responsibilities: 

Grows the Faculty of Engineering’s research portfolio by pursuing major research funding opportunities, strengthening the Engineering research ecosystem, and quantifying Engineering's research strengths, thus raising the profile of Waterloo Engineering research.

William has been appointed as native Elder for the School of Architecture and the Faculty of Engineering. Bill advises and counsels students and staff from native grounding. In this role he also lectures.
