UPDATE: As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the University of Waterloo is taking steps to limit the spread of the virus in our community. With caution and concern for our alumni, your class Reunion will be virtual. While we can’t reconnect in the way we planned in person on campus, we hope you will join us for a future Reunion on campus.
Welcome to your class reunion!
The 5, 10, 15 and 20-year anniversary class reunion in 2021 is for the Waterloo Engineering classes of 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2016.
You will find detailed information about your upcoming reunion on these pages (NOTE: invitations will only be e-mailed, NOT mailed). We hope that you will be able to attend your reunion to reconnect with your classmates, your professors, your Faculty, and your University. You will also have an opportunity to learn how the campus has changed since you graduated as well as meet current students and learn about current student life on campus.

“Post Pandemic: Economic Opportunities and Dangers Ahead”
As vaccination gives us herd immunity, will the economic revival be as rapid as expected, or will the economy surge and then quickly fade? Are planned government spending levels sustainable or imprudent? Do we face stock market or real estate bubbles about to burst? Is the spectre of inflation about the rise from the grave? Or has technology changed the economic dynamic beyond recognition?
See the legendary Professor Larry Smith deliver one of his famous addresses. You'll feel like a student all over again in DC 1351, the classroom where you may have taken one or more of Larry's economics courses.
Can't wait to hear Prof. Smith speak at Reunion? Check out his outrageously popular TEDxUW talk, "Why you will fail to have a great career", which has over 6.7 million views.
