Graduate Students in the Faculty of Engineering can connect with industry experts through the Centre for Career Action (CCA), Velocity incubator, and Mitacs programs.
The Centre for Career Action (CCA) supports all students, alumni, and employees. Career advisors can help you with career planning, career management, and setting meaningful goals. Visit the link below to learn more about all the services that the CCA provides. 

Velocity is a world-renowned incubator at Waterloo University. Velocity engages entrepreneurially curious students by guiding them to start and grow their own business. Visit Velocity’s webpage to learn more about the Velocity Incubator.  

The programs offered by Mitacs empower Canadian Innovation by helping students Develop their career through new research connections, experience, and professional skills training. The Centre for Teaching Excellence supports graduate students through certificate programs and workshops about teaching, teaching dossiers, and teaching observation.

Student Support

Copyright Services is the central hub that provides copyright information, support, and guidance to all students, faculty, and staff. The Office of Research offers support to students regarding ethics clearance for research projects. Staff are available to answer your questions via Microsoft Teams, telephone, or in-person. The library offers Flexible spaces, access to hundreds of databases, and tools to help support students on and off-campus. Visit The Library’s webpage to learn more. Print and Retail Solutions offers products and services that are essential to an enriched campus experience.
