The Engineering Undergrad Office (EUGO) is the central hub of academic and professional support for all engineering undergraduate students. We are here to support you by answering any general questions and connecting you with resources to help you succeed in your academic career at Waterloo.
Within the EUGO there are:
- First-year academic advisors, which are available to assist first-year students with any academic inquiries they may have.
- Engineering counsellors, which are available to provide short-term, personal counselling to students.
- The Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies, and their support staff.
- Part of the role of Associate Dean is to oversee the EUGO, including student grievances and discipline.
- The Associate Dean, Co-operative Education and Professional Affairs (CEPA), and their support staff.
- Part of the role of Associate Dean is to enhance the student co-op experience and arrange accreditation of all undergraduate programs.
Other services available through the EUGO
- Resume reviews are available on a walk-in basis.
- Sign out a light therapy lamp from Mon-Fri, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm for 1 hour at a time.
- Sign out lawn games during Spring term from Mon-Fri, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm for 2-3 hours at a time.
