Tom is a third year mechanical engineering student at the University of Waterloo. He joined the Microfluidics research group as a co-op student in January 2019 and is currently working with industry partners designing a microfluidic chip to capture separated protein. He is also working on the manufacturing of a pressure pump to be integrated with the microfluidic chip .
