Ryan is a second year nanotechnology engineering student and joined the Waterloo Microfluidics Lab as a volunteer research assistant in September 2019, and is currently a co-op research assistant. His research focuses on the double encapsulation of embryonic stem cells in GelMA hydrogels for the growth of embryonic bodies.
