In the new year, the Waterloo Public Transportation Initiative (WPTI) will be attending the Transportation Research Board's (TRB) 96th Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. WPTI will be associated with three presentations at the conference:
- Session 203 (Monday, January 9, 8:00 a.m.): "Origin Revenue Sources for Infrastructure Funding: Case Study for Waterloo, Ontario, Canada" by Terry, Casello, and Bachmann
- Session 252 (Monday, January 9, 8:00 a.m.): "Identifying Urban Activity Centers to Support Transit Network Design Using an Automated GIS Tool" by Fard and Casello
- Session 878 (Wednesday, January 11, 2:30 p.m.): "Enhancing Cycling Safety at Signalized Intersections: An Analysis of Observed Behavior" by Casello, Fraser, Mereu and Fard
