Comments & discussion

  • Have focused on UW Scholar and the brand refinement changes this winter.
  • Have been meeting with the Pure team from the Office of Research and OFUS from Engineering to figure out how to integrate these research systems
  • Will be looking at infrastructure changes and Drupal 8 changes in the spring; multi-lingual and stories content type as well.
  • This is a living document; plans can change as the year goes on.

Stories content type & FDSU (Tom Graham, Elizabeth Rogers, Andrew Smith)

  • Looking to add stories to our FDSU sites; have been in discussions with the WCMS team and Undergraduate Recruitment about story telling.
  • Will be piloting the stories content type on the Undergraduate Recruitment site.
  • In early April we will put together a small working group to work on initial requirements to pass on to the WCMS team before May’s sprint.
  • Hoping to launch around June of this year.

Other business

  • What is the status of ExpertFile?
    • University Relations has recently hired a new Associate Vice-President, Marketing and Strategic Initiatives. This will get picked back up again when he starts.
  • What is the status of the common look and feel template?
    • Joe Kwan will look into this with the brand refinement team to get more information regarding templates.
    • It could be a good time to revisit what web applications look like since there are many that exist on campus.

  • Demonstrations of things people are working on.
  • Members are asked to email other ideas to Don Duff-McCracken and/or Darren Bondy.
