For students starting in September
Graduate Orientation is a one-day event where you will have the opportunity to kick-start your academic journey at Waterloo. Orientation happens in September for students starting graduate studies in the fall term. You'll meet your peers, connect with graduate supports and resources, and start building your community on campus.
Graduate Socials
For students starting in January or May
Graduate Socials are events that happen at the beginning of winter and spring term for new graduate students. You'll meet graduate partners and resources, get to know your way around campus and celebrate the start of the term at Graduate House.
Graduate Orientation is a partnership between the Student Success Office (SSO) and the Graduate Student Association (GSA).
