Women in Engineering (WiE) welcomes all students, staff and faculty to Waterloo Engineering on Wednesday, September 18th, 2019. All are welcome!

The BBQ will start at 11 am and will go until around 1 pm. You can pop in whenever you get a bit of time! This is a casual event so people will be coming in and out :)

Explore the exciting field of engineering! Go ENG Girl is an exciting opportunity for Grade 7 - 10 girls to visit the University of Waterloo and learn about the wonderful world of engineering. Meet women currently studying engineering, learn about some of the amazing things women engineers are doing, and participate in a cool hands-on activity.

Date: Friday, May 26 - Saturday, May 27, 2023

Check-in: Between 4pm-5:45pm on May 26.

Check-out: 9:30am on May 27.

Where: University of Waterloo main campus - United College (190 Westmount Rd N, Waterloo, ON N2L 3G5)

The Women in Engineering (WiE) community invites prospective woman-identifying students to come to campus to learn more about WiE and meet your future peers!

Discover WiE is an overnight event where you will have the opportunity to hear from faculty and staff at Waterloo Engineering, meet and socialize with current students, and learn about the support that University of Waterloo provides its woman-identifying students. You will also meet and socialize with some of your future classmates! 

You'll stay overnight at United College residence in a double room and we'll provide dinner Friday night as well as breakfast Saturday morning. 

This is a great opportunity to get a head start in your transition to UWaterloo plus you can head straight to the You@Waterloo event on the 27th!
