We will be celebrating International Women’s Day with a movie screening at Princess Twin Cinema! Come out to watch Suffragette (2015). We're having a live panel before the show, free snacks and a chance to meet some awesome people.

Badge Day for Girl Guides

Guides (Ages 9-11) are invited to the University of Waterloo to earn a badge awared by Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWIE). Complete all the requirements through fun and interactive activity stations led by university students and staff. In addition to completing the badge requirements, the guides will also engage with inspiring mentors who demystify the university experience and technology careers.

Our special guest speaker, Tricia Smith, P.Eng. is the Manager of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at WalterFedy. She is a UWaterloo alumni who graduated from the Mechatronics program.
