The Run for the Cure is Canada's largest single day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, education and health promotion initiatives. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2014.

Come out to Women in Engineering's 3D printing keychain workshop! Design your own keychain in Solidworks, and we'll have it 3D printed for you for free!

If you don't know how to use Solidworks and want to learn some basics, we'll have a small tutorial and volunteers that are available to help. Take this chance to design something creative and see it built in real- life.

Women of Impact is a celebration of women’s achievements in science and engineering. Based on in-person interviews, this collection profiles eighteen women who have made significant contributions to the fields of materials, metallurgy, and mining in Canada. Their compelling stories and impressive achievements reveal how women have defied stereotypes, pushed through barriers, and passionately engaged with their industry.

Hydro One - Gr. 10/11 Conference

This is a conference designed for young women in grades 10/11 to explore engineering and gain a better understanding of the course pathway that is needed in high school.

Engineering is an exciting field and too many women don’t realize they want to pursue this career path until after grade 12. Don’t wait this long to discover what engineering is all about, what courses you need to take, the different types of engineers there are, meet current female engineers from industry, and try out hands-on activities related to coding, tech, math, and physics.

Women in Engineering (WiE) welcomes all students, staff and faculty to Waterloo Engineering on Friday, September 7th, 2018. All are welcome!

The BBQ will start at 11 am and will go until around 1 pm. You can pop in whenever you get a bit of time! This is a casual event so people will be coming in and out :)

Please join us for free food, fun activities, plus meet and mingle with your peers and current faculty, graduate and undergraduate students!
