Are you passionate about mathematics? Here's your chance to make a real impact. Women in Mathematics (WiM) is on the lookout for enthusiastic representatives to join the Mathematics Undergraduates (WiMugrad). At the heart of it, the WiM committee is dedicated to cultivating an environment that empowers female and gender minority students within the math faculty.
WiMugrad is committed to addressing the issue of under-representation and strives to achieve a balanced, equal representation of all genders in the world of mathematics. Apply using the Google form here, or visit the WiM Undergraduate page for more information.

Don't miss out, applications are open until August 23rd!

Calling all Undergrad students in Math! Women in Mathematics (WiM) is looking for passionate undergraduate  representatives to join the Women in Mathematics Undergraduates (WiMugrad). The WiM committee advocates to create a diverse and empowering environment for female and gender minority students in the math faculty.

If you’re interested in getting involved, please apply through the google form, or visit the WiM Undergraduate page for more information. Applications will be open until March 22.

The newly launched WiM Directed Reading Program (DRP) initiative aims to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to work with graduate students on a mathematical project. This project could be an introduction to cutting-edge research, setting up the groundwork for a thesis or research project, or a casual survey of an article that would be intimidating to cover on one’s own.

Women in Mathematics Directed Reading Program (DRP) application for Fall 2022 is now open!

Prospective undergraduate student (mentees) applicants:

Each mentee will receive mentoring one-on-one or in teams of two mentees per mentor, experience communicating mathematics, and a certificate letter from the WiM committee which they can use in their CV distinguishing them as a bright and curious individual. This is a great way to not only explore new mathematics but also meet new mathematicians!

The program is open to current undergraduate students at every stage of their studies, who identify as women or under-represented gender identities.

If you are interested in participating in the DRP program during the Fall 22 term, please fill out this form before September 10, 2022.
