Lina Voloshin

MASc student

Lina is a candidate for Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) - Nanotechnology working in the area of printable electronics.

Melissa's work focuses on printing transistors with organic semiconductors.

She is developing new fabrication techniques to enhance the device performance of Organic Thin Film Transistors (OTFTs) created through inkjet printing.

Ali obtained both his bachelor's and master's degrees in materials engineering with a focus on light metal alloys, extractive metallurgy, electrochemical coatings and corrosion.

Minoli's research has been on using nanowire structures to improve the performance of low-cost and flexible energy harvesting solar cells, which are fabricated using hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) thin-film. Characteristics of the 3-D a-Si:H solar cells upon applied bending are also investigated.
