Congratulations to Adam Hunter, who received an NSERC Undergraduate Research Award (USRA) for Winter 2019. Adam spent the winter term continuing his work from KIN 431/432 (honours research project) where he was exploring two-dimensional models of thigh-calf contact in high flexion in the BOHM lab. 

We wish him success in his future endeavours! 

The BOHM lab has a new publication! PhD graduate David Kingston was the first author of "Representing fine-wire EMG with surface EMG in three thigh muscles during high knee flexion movements" published in JEK. 

The BOHM lab is happy to welcome a new MSc student to our team - Jessa Buchman-Pearle. Jessa is joining us from Western University.

Congratulations to Annemarie Laudanski, who received the NSERC Alexander Graham Bell Canada Research Scholarship for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 academic years. 

Her research will focus on the application of wearable sensor based machine learning algorithms for the detection and quantification of high knee flexion exposures in childcare workers. 

The BOHM lab attended the biannual Canadian Society for Biomechanics (CSB) conference which was held in Halifax, NS from August 14^th to 17^th, 2018.

C-Motion Inc. (C-Motion) offers one award for both the Masters and Doctoral level for promising new investigators presenting work at the Canadian Society for Biomechanics biannual meeting.

The BOHM lab has a new publication! PhD candidate David Kingston was the first author of "Thigh-calf contact parameters for six high knee flexion postures: Onset, maximum angle, total force, contact area, and center of force" published in The Journal of Biomechanics.

The BOHM lab has a new publication! MSc graduate Liana Tennant was the first author of "The effects of a simulated occupational kneeling exposure on squat mechanics and knee joint load during gait" published in Ergonomics.

The BOHM lab attended the annual American Society of Biomechanics (ASB) conference which was held in Boulder, CO this year. PhD student Annemarie Laudanski and PhD candidate David Kingston both had poster presentations.
