PhD Student - Dr. Stacey Acker
Kimberly Peckett
Kimberly Peckett is currently completing her PhD in Biomechanics. Her research interests include occupational biomechanics, with emphasis on injury and disease mechanisms.
Kimberly has recently completed her MSc (2024) in Kinesiology with a specialization in Biomechanics. Her thesis investigated whether a single shift of occupational childcare would effect the childcare educators' knee mechanics during gait.
Kimberly completed her BSc (2021) in Kinesiology, with a minor in Medical Physiology, at the University of Waterloo. During her degree she investigated lower limb muscle fatigue after simulated childcare tasks in a non-standardized fatigue protocol.
