This project quantified the magnitude and location of pressure between the thigh and shank segments during high flexion kneeling. Data collection is complete and results of the study have been published in the Journal of Biomechanics.

David's research provides the first robust data set of inter-segment pressure in healthy participants. These data will be used in non-linear regression models (manuscript currently under review) to estimate total force and centre of pressure location based on knee flexion angle.
