Covering every aspect of the built environment—from sustainable transit and accessible buildings to housing, study areas, and recreation spaces—this plan prepares our campus for the future. It’s a pivotal opportunity to shape a campus that meets the moment and expresses the authentic vision of Waterloo at 100.
Since our last Campus Plan in 2009, our world has undergone significant change. New imperatives for sustainability, accessibility, and spaces that foster collaboration mean it’s time to reimagine how we shape our physical campus to meet the evolving needs of UWaterloo communities. Guided by our values of Thinking Differently, Acting with Purpose, and Working Together, we’re redesigning a campus to reflect the change we want to see in the world.
This transformation is a collaborative effort, drawing on the expertise of UWaterloo’s communities and our city partners. Together, we’re creating a campus for living, working, and thriving—a campus built together, that will lead us into the future.
