The University of Waterloo has launched Phase 2 of its Campus Plan survey, inviting students, staff, and faculty to help shape the future of the main campus.

Just like cities have urban plans, the Campus Plan is Waterloo’s long-term framework to guide how physical spaces evolve to support learning, research, sustainability, and community.

This next phase builds on feedback gathered earlier this year and introduces early design strategies for consideration. The survey asks for input on concepts such as:

  • A reimagined Ring Road Greenway for pedestrians and cyclists

  • Outdoor learning stations, classrooms, and innovation spaces

  • A Two Row Path informed by Indigenous values and ecological connections

  • Green roofs, stormwater gardens, and rainwater reuse

  • Campus features that promote accessibility, well-being, and belonging

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and is open to all students and employees until Monday, August 5. Participants will be entered into a draw to win one of two $50 W Store gift cards.
