CAMJ Members Attend CANWELD Conference 2023

Prof. Adrian Gerlich, students Mohammad Shojaee, Maryam Soleimani and Rami Hakim attended the CANWELD Conference 2023 held on October 18^th and 19^th in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Professor Adrian Gerlich delivered a presentation entitled "Advances in Aluminum Welding Technologies".

PhD student Mohammad Shojaee delivered a presentation entitled “An experimental methodology to characterize load-based fracture models of third generation advanced high strength steel resistance spot welds”.

PhD student Maryam Soleimani delivered a presentation entitled "Nano-Welding of Metal-Oxide Nanowires with Pulsed Lasers".

MASc student Rami Hakim delivered a presentation entitled "Effect of Anisotropy and Varying Parameters for Micro-Plasma Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing".

Prof. Adrian Gerlich was awarded the CWB Fellow Award.

PhD student Maryam Soleimani was awarded the CWB Graduation Award.
