Resistance Spot Welding of Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS)
Automobile industry is dealing with the use of advanced high strength steels. Weight reduction, strength increase, crashworthiness behaviour and tailored weld blanks are subject of lately assessment. Dissimilar welding of advanced high strength steels is being studied in order to understand the metallurgical phenomena. Mechanical properties and phase transformation are being analyzed.
