Future of Urban Transportation Symposium

Tuesday, March 8, 2016 (all day)

With the advent of electrified vehicles, ride sharing, vehicle sharing and the advances in connected and autonomous vehicles, it is predicted that surface transportation is about to go through a major Renaissance. Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) is the collective term that includes many of the emerging transportation alternatives including vehicle sharing, (Car2Go, Modo, Zoom, Evo), ride sharing/ hailing (Lyft/ Sidecar, Uber) and bike sharing (Bixi, Vélib).

On March 8th, industry leaders from North America and Europe will convene in downtown Toronto at the Mattamy Centre (formerly Maple Leaf Gardens) for the Future of Urban Transportation symposium. The event, sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and the City of Toronto, is being organized by ITS Canada.
