Ziauddin Yousafzai will share his experiences as a teacher in the Swat Valley of Pakistan. As the father of Malala, the co-recipient of the 2014 Peace Nobel Prize, he knows the impact of violence and oppression. Hear about how her story has inspired girls to seek education and learn about the needs of peace curriculum in the context of unrest and injustice.
The Mennonite Archives of Ontario has partnered with the Hunsberger family to create a photo exhibit featuring a select number of David L. Hunsberger's iconic photos. Almost 5,700 of his images were donated to the Archives in 2005.
In celebration of the International Day of Peace, Conrad Grebel University College is pleased to be organizing Peace Week - a week of events to acknowledge and raise awareness for several peace related issues.

This conference and festival will bring together academics, practitioners, artists, and church workers from around the world, to dialogue and reflect on Mennonite peacebuilding accomplishments, failures, challenges, and opportunities in varied international settings, past and present.

Join us on September 21, the International Day of Peace and World Alzheimer's Awareness Day, to celebrate the launch of this exhibit. Painting a Picture of Dignity explores the theme of dignity from the lens of people who are experiencing Alzheimer's and dementia.
