Every year, on September 21, the world celebrates the International Day of Peace. Inspired by this initiative, the Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement and Conrad Grebel University College invite you to peace events throughout September 16 to 22, or to plan an event to mark the occasion your way, in your community.

Celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement

Join us for a reception celebrating the upcoming Grebel Gallery exhibit, The Cultural Life of Drones: KW Drone Dialogues by Sara Matthews. 

Through interactive exercises and discussions, the Men’s Circle will explore some of the ways in which men can become leaders in creating a safer campus for everyone. The content is geared toward unpacking harmful constructs of masculinity and increasing understanding of the impact of an individual’s behaviour on themselves and others.

The Map the System Canada Final Showcase will take place on May 8, 2020 from 3 PM - 4:30 PM EST. Emma McDougall, Kaitlin Webber, and Sam Petrie will be representing the University of Waterloo at the showcase, presenting their research on transit-induced gentrification in Waterloo Region.

The Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement will be hosting a Virtual Opportunities Fair on October 27, 2020, from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
