UWaterloo students explored the topic of divestment in a recent webinar presented by the Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change (IC3) and Faculty of Applied Health Sciences (AHS). The webinar “Unpacking Divestment: What it means for UWaterloo” was held on October 20th, 2020.

IC3 member, Maria Strack, named fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) and member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists.

IC3 member, Imre Szeman, is among the Royal Society of Canada’s Class of 2020. Professor Imre Szeman from the department of Communication Arts has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (RSC), one of Canada’s most distinguished scholarly honours. 

IC3 member Sarah Burch joins CBC host Laura Lynch on the CBC Radio podcast What on Earth. In the episode "Net-zero emissions is the goal. So how do we get there?" Sarah shares her expertise in sustainable governance, decarbonization, and climate change.

IC3 member Andrew Trant was recently featured in Waterloo Stories for his research looking at 100 years of ecosystem change across the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
