Janel is the Lab Coordinator of the Cognitive Development Lab, and graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BA in Honours Psychology, and Wilfrid Laurier University with an MSW. In her final year, she conducted an honours thesis investigating the social consequences of errors in communicative perspective-taking in adult populations. Janel also works as a Registered Social Worker and Child, Youth, and Family Therapist.

Elaria holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sexuality, Marriage, and Family Studies from the University of Waterloo. She conducted her thesis under the guidance of Dr. Uzma Rehman and now serves as a Research Coordinator for the Cognitive Development Lab and the Social Development Lab. Elaria's future aspirations include pursuing graduate studies in clinical psychology with a focus on researching socio-emotional development in children and adolescents.
Navya is in her 2nd year in the PharmD program at the University of Waterloo. She started working in the Cognitive Development Lab (CDL) as a co-op student during her undergrad. She continues to work as a part-time research assistant on various projects of graduate students, by helping with testing, coding, and general administrative tasks for the lab. She has a huge passion for cognitive and social psychology and loves to work with children.
Barbara is in her fourth year in BA Honors Psychology minoring in Social Development Studies. She is interested in cognitive and clinical psychology, with a target population of children. She helps with recruitment and coding at the lab.
