Math GSA and CS GSA: Virtual Games Night

Thursday, October 1, 2020 6:00 pm - 6:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

We wanted to share some exciting news about an upcoming event! As you may already be aware, the CS GSA has partnered with the Math GSA to bring you another online event. This time we will be hosting Jackbox sessions for you all to enjoy! This is a great opportunity to keep in touch with your fellow grad students, unwind for a bit, and play some hilarious party games. The event will take place on October 1st, from 6:00pm-8:00pm (EDT). You can find the event through the Math Faculty Grad Students Team on Microsoft Teams.

For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Jackbox, the game allows up to 8 "first-players" to compete in challenges, while an unlimited number of audience members can take part in little ways. As the number of sessions will be limited, we are asking that the "first-players" register in advance through EventBrite. There will be spaces for up to 48 first players. Depending on the attendance, we will also host breakout rooms featuring other games such as the online Cards Against Humanity clone, Not All Bad Cards, as well as board games through Board Game Arena.
