The beginning of the Winter 2017 term marks the beginning of the co-op process for the first year CFM students. Not sure what to expect? You're not alone! We know you're getting excited for co-op and hope this event will help answer some of the questions you have.

Join us to have your questions answered and to get a head start on your co-op preparations.

Are you interested in grad school, especially in the realm of Finance? If so, you are invited to attend an information session for the Master in Finance program at the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF), a part of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China.

Become a co-op expert!

As you being the co-op process this January, get familiar with all the components of the co-op at the second CFM Co-op Prep Event. 

The event will run fair-style, giving you the opportunity to walk around and chat with experienced upper-year CFM students at the following stations:

Computing and Financial Management invites all graduating CFM students to celebrate their achievements together over dinner and drinks.  We will be joined by CFM professors, co-directors, and program managers. If you are a graduating 4B student and would like to attend please RSVP.

Time: Cocktails will begin at 6:00 pm, dinner served at 6:30 pm.

Dress code: Business casual

You will be automatically enrolled in your required courses by your Program Manager; however, if you need to make changes to your schedule, you will be able to do this using Quest. Changes to your schedule should not be made without careful consideration and discussion with your Program Manager.

Student Venture Fund

Hello Class of 2020, 2019, and 2018 AFM, Biotech-CPA, CFM and Math-CPA students,

We welcome applications from the SAF students in the Class of 2020, 2019, and 2018 for the Student Venture Fund that will be launched in the fall 2017 term.

The SVF has a generous commitment of $1MM. Our fund’s long-term goal is raise $2MM capital for the fund.  Students will learn about early stage companies, emerging technologies and prepare for a career in venture capital investing.  (Details in the attached document.)

Online course examinations are on July 28 and July 29.
