Planning Your Degree (DYL For PhD Students) - Winter 2025
Plan your degree and establish your unique path.
Navigating a doctoral program can be incredibly demanding. Taking a moment to plan ahead can save you valuable time in the long run. Join Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs for an interactive workshop where you'll have the chance to review your academic milestones, explore potential career paths, and consider both academic and non-academic opportunities to tailor your PhD experience to your unique goals.
This workshop draws on Design Thinking principles from the book Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans. We'll introduce you to some of their innovative approaches during the session.
This is an in-person event. Lunch will be provided.
This event is part of the GRADnavigate workshop series. Registration is required. Please note: dietary restrictions must be provided 48 hours before the event.
