Rachel Moline is one of six students awarded the 2015 Undergraduate Thesis Award for their outstanding projects. Rachel's thesis research investigates the effectiveness of current surgical interventions for pediatric gait-improvement.

The Departmental Award for Distinguished Academic Achievement is awarded to the top graduating student in each department in the Faculty of Arts. Xiao Qi (Frank) Mu is the 2015 recipient of the Departmental Award in Psychology.

Honours student Thyra will be presenting her thesis research examining the effects of exposure on attitudes and prejudice within the field of sexuality at the 37th Annual Guelph Sexuality Conference in June.

All three graduate students have just completed their first year working in the DIGR lab.

Dr. Bergsieker has been awarded a 3-year SSHRC Insight Grant entitled "Diversity and Trust: Achieving Integration through Interdependence"
