Welcome to the Earth Sciences Museum

Join us at the Earth Sciences Museum on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Whether you are a budding scientist, a family looking for some weekend fun, or just curious about the natural world, this event is open to everyone. Come explore our unique interactive spaces, and get an up-close look at incredible rocks, minerals, and ancient fossils. Admission is free, and no prior registration is required—just drop in and start exploring! Each open door day, our staff will have a collection of items from behind the scenes for visitors to touch and explore. On September 26, staff will bring out some of our dinosaur bones that are typically tucked away in storage.
