Continuing his travels across Canada, Barry Warner's second stop was at Nipple Mountain in British Columbia, near Kelowna. With the help of rock enthusiast and prospector, Don Sandberg, Warner was once again able to find some incredible specimens for the Peter Russell Rock Garden.
This time they were in the form of columnar basalt and dacite. These volcanic columns are of Paleogene age and within the basalt there are fragments of peridotite. The rock garden continues to grow!
