Long-term Volunteers

We are always looking for dedicated long-term volunteers to help run and maintain many aspects of the museum. If you are passionate and enthusiastic about  Earth Sciences, you may want to become a long-term volunteer with us!

Some tasks we need help with include:

• Cataloguing our fossil, mineral and rock collections
• Photographing specimens for the catalogue
• Conducting research for exhibits
• Creating display material
• Cleaning and updating displays
• Leading tours and workshops

Our volunteer application process is selective in the sense that we are looking for people who have some applicable background in earth sciences or related fields, and that we are looking for some degree of commitment.
