Dave
is
a
retired
hydrogeologist
(B.Sc.,
MASc.,
P.Geo)
working
as
a
geoscientist. He
graduated
from
Queen’s
University
(Earth
Sciences)
and
from
the
University
of
Waterloo
(Water
Resources).
Dave
worked
in
the
oil
&
gas
industry
developing
existing
and
new
oil
fields;
in
environmental
consulting
assessing
and
cleaning
up
contaminated
sites,
exploring
groundwater
resources
and
eventually,
at
Ontario
Power
Generation
developing
groundwater
monitoring
programs
for
their
nuclear
facilities
and
managing
the
company’s
environmental
responsibilities
for
the
nuclear
and
hydro-electric
businesses.
Currently,
he
is
volunteering
as
a
technical
committee
member
at
the
Canadian
Standards
Association,
developing
and
reviewing
nuclear
environmental
standards
(N288
series).
