Mekong Delta Field Course: EARTH 490

Spend your winter break differently this year and join the GPS field course in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam! Explore one of the largest and most fertile mega-deltas in the world. You will learn about the natural processes that created the delta but also how humans have been altering the hydrology, landforms, and ecosystems of the delta. You will be working directly in the field to get unique hands-on experience and knowledge of the environmental risks facing the sustainable development of the delta.

• Eligibility: open to all upper-level undergraduate students from University of Waterloo (and graduate students with permission from the supervisor)
