Farvolden Lecture Series and Groundwater Research Symposium

Philippe kicks off the Farvolden symposium’s morning session with a talk entitled “Environmental and Biogeochemical Effects of River Damming”, followed by Paul Martin’s talk on “Source Protection Water Budgets – A Consultant’s perspective on Achievements”, and three student presentations by Emily Henkemans, Jeffrey Leon and Kimberley Van Meter. This year’s Farvolden Lecture is being delivered in the afternoon by Dr. Peter Fritz, the Founding Scientific Director of the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ)in Leipzig, Germany.
