Hang defends her MSc thesis!
Ecohydrology Research Group MSc student Hang Nguye successfully defended her thesis on June 26, 2024 in a virtual defence. Hang's thesis is titled "Controls on Microplastics Accumulation in
Stormwater Ponds". Her research was supported by the NSERC Alliance grant “Plastics science for a cleaner future” program to the project: “Microplastics Fingerprinting at the watershed scale: from sources to receivers” and the Global Water Futures program.
Hang was supervised by Dr. Fereidoun Rezanezhad and Dr. Philippe Van Cappellen (Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Ecohydrology Research Group), and the committee included Dr. Rodney Smith (Department of Chemistry) and Dr. Brian Kendall (Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences).
