Philippe attended the Mid-Term Evaluation meeting of the R&D projects funded under the ERA-NET Cofund WaterWorks2015 Joint Call to support research on the sustainable management of water resources in agriculture, forestry and freshwater aquaculture sectors. The meeting was held in Madrid, Spain on March 27-28. In total 21 projects were evaluated. Philippe presented the progress and achievements of the LEAP (Legacies of Agricultural Pollutants) project led by Waterloo and including partners from Stockholm University, University of Copenhagen and University of Coimbra. Before arriving in Madrid, Philippe visited the University of Coimbra on March 15-26 to meet with LEAP partner Professor Maria Cunha and her team. He was joined in Coimbra by Dr. Roy Brouwer, also a partner in LEAP.
