Philippe visits China University of Geosciences - Wuhan

Philippe visited University of Geosciences – Wuhan on September 22-29 to discuss ongoing and emerging research projects. Topics of discussion included geogenic groundwater contaminants, greenhouse gas emissions from lakes, bioenergetics, reactive oxygen species, antimicrobial resistance, pore pressure effects, and much more. On Tuesday September 24, Philippe gave an invited talk entitled Advances in Modeling Redox-Dynamic Environments. Proposals for joint sessions and a workshop for the 2027 Goldschmidt Conference were also submitted. The visit further included a field trip to the top of the Dabie Mountains.
