Waterloo’s Global Water Futures’ achievements featured on WWD 2024

The Water Institute organized a full day of activities to celebrate World Water Day 2024. The afternoon included a panel session to explore Waterloo’s legacy in developing approaches and tools for sustainable water management under the $78 million pan-Canadian Global Water Futures (GWF) program. The panelists included Claude Duguay, David Rudolph, Jimmy Lin, Merrin Macrae and Nandita Basu. The panel was preceded by an overview presentation by Philippe Van Cappellen summarizing the achievements and impacts of GWF at the University of Waterloo.
