Akindi now supports written answer question grading!

The University will proceed with the purchase of a temporary (one-year) site licence for iClicker that will make the tool available to students at no cost for the period from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026

For the Fall term, we will return instructors’ ability to add users to courses as TAs or as “Staff/Librarian” (instructions). However, it is important that instructors follow these guidelines.

The University is currently prioritizing the identification of EdTech being used that has not undergone a privacy or cybersecurity assessment, underutilized EdTech, and/or tools that have been determined to be duplicate in nature.

D2L experienced an issue from approximately 12:45-2:15 p.m. today that prevented clients from accessing the University’s learning management system LEARN.

After assessing information collected through a review of current and potential future use cases, cost/benefit analysis and market research, a decision has been made to begin a planned sunsetting and discontinuation of the platform.

TheGenerative AI Enablement Governance committee is pleased to announce the launch of the Generative AI website, a new institutional resource for the use and integration of GenAI across the University’s teaching and learning, research, and administrative environments. 

EdTech Sandbox is a physical and virtual space for collaboration, safe testing, and experimentation of different educational technologies and software for use in courses and for innovation in education.
