As communicated on May 11, 2023 and February 27, 2023, IST has completed the migration of all videos from Stream (Classic) to Stream (on SharePoint). Stream (Classic) will be retired on October 15, 2023.
What do you need to do?
- In your personal OneDrive, check for videos in the ‘Stream Migrated Videos’ folder
- Move them to the appropriate Teams/SharePoint sites for longevity.
- Update any links to your videos
- If you have links to Stream (Classic) videos posted anywhere, be sure to update them to the new Stream (SharePoint) URLs as soon as possible, to avoid any issues
- Existing Stream (Classic) links will re-direct to the location they were originally migrated to, until October 15, 2024.
- If you manually move the video, you will need to update the link at the same time
Note: Some videos were migrated to associated Teams/SharePoint sites – check the new location of your videos and contact the IST Service Desk if you need assistance.
