Creator+ pilot continues to seek participants

As part of the LEARN Improvements Project, the Teaching Innovation Incubator, in collaboration with Instructional Technologies and Media Services is now piloting the Creator+ tool to help University of Waterloo faculty and staff enhance student engagement in their LEARN courses.

Creator+ offers instructors integrated LEARN tools to elevate the online student learning experience. Instructors can use Creator+ to seamlessly integrate interactive digital course content into LEARN (e.g., practice exercises, interactive components, and video recordings) and allows students to work in the LEARN system with these dynamic elements.

We're inviting instructors - particularly those teaching in the Fall 2024 term - to join the Creator+ pilot!

Instructors will receive digital resources and training opportunities throughout the Spring term to help build confidence, so you are ready to incorporate this tool into your course. Workshop training sessions on Creator+ are scheduled to take place in late June/early July. More information about dates and times for Creator+ workshops and training will be announced later this month - stay tuned!

If you are a faculty or staff member interested in exploring Creator+, complete the expression of interest form to be considered to join the pilot. We're also eager to hear from students as well and will solicit and facilitate feedback from your students on your behalf.

For more information about the Creator+ pilot and the roles and responsibilities for participating in the pilot, please visit the Creator+ pilot participation expectation document and review the project page on the TII site.
