Indigenous Research Book Club

This session will dig into the seminal work Research Is Ceremony: Indigenous Research Methods by Dr. Shawn Wilson (Opaskwayak Cree). This book describes a research paradigm shared by Indigenous scholars in Canada and Australia, and demonstrates how this paradigm can be put into practice. One particular focus for this session will be how do non-Indigenous researchers ethically read and relate to texts like this. Link to be sent prior to the session.
