Samantha Terry

ERS graduate Samantha Terry (BES '25), an Ojibwe student from Temagami First Nation, shares her inspiring journey of reconnecting with her Indigenous identity while thriving in co-op roles and building community at the University of Waterloo. Through meaningful work experiences with the Faculty of Environment and Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and support from Indigenous spaces like the Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre and the Office of Indigenous Relations, Terry found purpose, confidence and cultural reconnection. Her story highlights the power of co-op in shaping both professional and personal growth.
