Sandra Klemet-N'Guessan is an NSERC postdoctoral fellow in the School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability. Sandra's overall research interests encompass freshwater ecology, biogeochemistry, social-ecological systems, and science equity. She is a doctoral graduate from Trent University where her research focused on the role of aquatic animals in the cycling of nutrients, carbon, and contaminants in streams and lakes.
Her postdoctoral research now focuses on co-designing Indigenous Data Sovereignty wise practices to assess animal-mediated elemental cycling in peatlands with Dr. Kelsey Leonard as part of the WAMPUM lab and CAN-PEAT network.
