We want to help turn meaningful ideas into action. As part of our anti-racism commitments, we focus on empowering communities that create the conditions for people to lead, create, and shape the spaces they belong to.
Whether you’re launching a project, hosting an event, amplifying community voices, or exploring collaboration, we’re here to support work that strengthens belonging, equity, and collective care across campus and the region.
The Community Microgrants provide up to $1,500 per project (with $5,000 available each term) to support community-led initiatives such as cultural celebrations, creative workshops, peer support groups, well-being events, and more.
Keep an eye out for when Community Microgrants applications open next.
We understand that global events—such as conflicts, natural disasters, and social injustices—can deeply affect members of our community. That's why we created a list of on- and off- campus resources that are available for emotional support and community engagement.
Need to talk? Need support? Check out these resources.
We connect on-campus communities with off-campus communities, strengthen local networks, and create pathways for students, staff, and faculty to learn from the important work already happening across the region.
If you’re a student, staff, or faculty member connected to a community organization in the region or beyond and want to collaborate, submit an intake form.
We have welcoming on-campus spaces to support community-focused events, meetings, and gatherings. We also offer access to our podcasting equipment and media tools for community-led storytelling, interviews, and creative expression.
Curious about using our space and equipment? Submit an intake form.
If you’re hosting a community-centered event or initiative, we can share it through EDI-R’s communication channels and networks to help you reach the right communities and strengthen engagement.
