Join transgender therapist and educator, Washington Silk (they/them), as they talk about menstruation and trans folks! In this special Pride Month edition of our Menstrual Equity Lunch and Learn series we’ll learn more about the complex relationship between menstruation and trans bodies.

This is a virtual open session to learn more broadly about sexual and gender-based violence and how to appropriately respond to disclosures.

May marks Sexual Violence Awareness Month (SVAM). The Quantum Nano Fabrication and Characterization Facility (QNFCF) and Transformative Quantum Technologies (TQT) will be hosting an open house at the Research Advancement Centre (RAC) to celebrate the opening of the Inert Atmosphere Fabrication Lab (IAFL). Join us as we showcase the shared lab equipment available to our academic community and industry partners. This event will feature a motivating talk by Adam Wei Tsen, IQC Associate Professor, on the research that this new 2D material device fabrication lab will enable. Lab tours and talks about tool capabilities will follow.

"In The Mix" is an interdisciplinary exhibition that explores music of the Black diaspora. Through a site-specific, interactive installation that combines sound, music, collage, personal family photographs and archives, disc-jockeying, and experimental turntablism, representations of Black identity are explored and reimagined.
