Mindfulness for Menstrual Health

We all know the struggle — those monthly aches, pains, and discomforts that seem to take over our lives. We either take painkillers or try to ignore the hormonal chaos... What if there was a better way? You've heard of mindfulness for mental health, but what about menstrual health?

All students, faculty and staff are invited to join us for a 90-minute mindfulness meditation session and embark on an intimate journey through your body; discover a new way to connect with and care for yourself during this time.

2025 International Conference on Games and Narrative

The International Conference on Games and Narrative (ICGaN’25) provides an interdisciplinary venue for researchers from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds to explore the impact of video games and interactive storytelling. This year’s conference theme “Adapt, Adopt, Adjust: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Adaptation, Storytelling, and Simulation” asks us to consider the power of adapted and adaptive narratives, experiences, genres, and mechanics.

As part of the Water Institute's WaterTalks lecture series, Dr. Ryan Emmanuel, Associate Professor of Hydrology, Duke University, North Carolina, US, will present: On the swamp: Indigenous environmental justice across North Carolina’s coastal plain.
